Bach-Salvat Foundation Scholarship

Informació i bases de la convocatòria Salvat Beca Bach 2023 al següent enllaç:

The Bach-Salvat Foundation Scholarship aims to promote the training and promotion of young solo singers in the field of J.S. Bach vocal music, awarding four scholarships each year (soprano, alto, tenor and bass).

The project is led and sponsored by the Salvat Foundation itself and has the artistic direction and collaboration of the two entities: the BCB Association and the Bachcelona Foundation.

Started in 2014, the project has a training component and in this way it has had very well-known soloists such as countertenor Carlos Mena, soprano Katharine Fuge, baritone Stephan MacLeod, tenor Benjamin Bruns, and soprano Miriam Feuersinger.

This year of 2020 we have had to cancel all activities planned due to the effects of covid-19. As the soloists, who were awarded this year, have not been able to perform in any concert, we have decided that these same singers will participate in the activities we have organized for 2021. As an exception, there will be therefore no call to appoint new soloists this year.

We would like to remind you of the award-winning soloists who will perform at the concerts in 2021:
