Adriana Alcaide
Barcelona violinist, specialized in Historical Interpretation and the Baroque Violin from 1999 to 2003 at the Koninlijk Conservatorium in The Hague (Netherlands), thanks to a grant from the Generalitat de Catalunya.
Member of the European Baroque Orchestra (EUBO), working with Roy Goodman and Andrew Manze. She forms part of: L’Arpeggiata, Amsterdam Concert, Berlin Baroque, Utrecht Baroque Consort, Ludovice Ensemble, Glossarium, Al Ayre Español, Baroque Orchestra of Seville, playing under the baton of Rinaldo Alessandrini, Eduardo López Banzo, Monica Huggett and Jordi Savall. She has performed in venues such as Carneggie Hall (NY) and Wigmore Hall (London).
She has recorded for Harmonia Mundi, Naïve, K617 and Brilliant Classics. She is the creator of the Symbiotic Ensemble and Follia Project, with whom she performs in numerous concerts.
She is currently the musical director and performer of the show Händel and Friends of L’AUDITORI EDUCA. She combines her purely musical side with a theatrical performance, including it in her musical performances. She goes on numerous tours around Japan with the Soubugen group.
She has recently released her solo CD “Still Life” under the record label Anacrusa, as well as publishing her first book “Mujerísima”.
